Smoky Mountains

From the Midwest, I am used to the green landscape due to the large amount of annual rainfall. The Smoky Mountains show that with the mass amounts of lush, green, tree covered terrain. Having never been there I believe it would be the perfect opportunity not only to shoot some great sunset photos, but to also capture multiple wildlife species on camera.

This great shot of the mountains(more like large hills), shows the variety of deep colors you are exposed to capturing. The haze in the background isn't smoke, but fog rising from all of the damp, vegetation which has saturated the air next to it creating a small blanket of fog. This fog softens the light and makes the trees close to the camera appear slightly faded so there is an equal distribution of attention between both the landscape and the sky.
